Before the move
Before the move and free of charge, one of our residential removal surveyors will visit you to discuss all your detailed requirements, enabling us to formulate an accurate fixed price quote, getting back to you the same or next day. There’s no obligation and your removals quote will be valid for 30 days, so you can take your time to decide. If you would like you could always use our packing service if that’s easier. If you choose not to use our packing service you should still ask about the packing materials we can provide for your move.
On the day
On the day of the move you don’t even need to be at home. We are more than happy to take care of everything on your behalf. As long as your boxes are all labelled correctly, your detailed itinerary and floor plans are all we need to ensure everything is correctly packed, loaded and arrives exactly where it should be. The specialist team and vehicle assigned to your move will be fully equipped with mattress covers, quilted sofa protectors, TV protectors and all other necessary protective equipment to protect your goods.
Before we leave
When the vehicle is loaded and we are good to go you will be asked to double check all the rooms to confirm you are happy. We will leave the premises immaculate from top to bottom, tidying up any mess made by the team, ready for the new occupants to arrive. As pre-planned at the new address we will unpack all furniture and effects, placing them in position according to the floor plans. We can reposition heavy items and we will take away as much of the old packaging as possible.
3 Steps to Booking your Residential Move
Step 1 – Getting a Quotation
Firstly call our office or alternatively get in touch using our quick message form or get a quote page and book an appointment at a time that best suits you, morning noon or night for one of our removals team to visit your property and discuss with you your home removal needs. This is a free, no obligation, service.
Step 2 – Surveyors Home Visit
A uniformed removals surveyor will arrive at the arranged time and ask to be shown around your home to discuss your move requirements. This is important if we are to provide an accurate quotation for your move. We can provide a variety of services to suit your particular needs depending on individual requirements. Your quotation can be posted or emailed.
Step 3 – Booking your residential removal
If you are happy with your quotation and want to go ahead with your move just call the office and explain what dates you require for your move and any other information we need to put a plan in place. At the time of the survey the Sudbury Removals and Storage representative will discuss any specialised items and advise on how they will be packed and cared for or any other items you may have concerns about.
Depending on your needs you may need us to dismantle furniture for you and even reassemble at your new address. This is not a problem but may increase the cost of your move.
